The Japanese island of Hokkaido is one of my favorite places on earth. While this is not a frozen flower photograph, it was freezing! I’ve taken some artistic license and layered another photo on top of the landscape to reinforce the ‘snow’ idea. It was snowing. A lot! But I knew I had to make a shawl out of this because of the delicacy of the branches and grasses. How marvelous it will look in your winter wardrobe! Sized to wrap you in warmth and softness at 65 x 35 inches. Large enough to style as a skirt, still light enough to wear under a coat. Spectacular with white, cream, black, navy, pale blue and gray.
