This orchid composition was another revelation for me. When I first began creating the textiles and scarves, the border colors and logo were complimentary colors. For this scarf I created a pop of rich blue for the logo. This blue created more depth and sophistication in the olive, pale yellow and gold in the image. It is such a versatile piece. Perhaps it is more understated than some of my other designs? It is a four season piece, perfect with the creams, soft beige and brown, and deep olive greens in your wardrobe. Sized at 66 x 44 inches to include all the lovely orchids, a slightly more square rectangle than the other shawls.
